Itinerary:
Morning Experience (Dawn) Mondays & Wednesdays:
Hotel pick-up in an air-conditioned vehicle. Please note that although we try to arrive as close as possible to the notified time, pick-up times do vary depending on your location.
Arrive at the Park at 7.30 a.m. On arrival at Phang Nga Elephant Park, you will meet your guide and be offered our refreshing signature welcome drink.
You will first have your mandatory safety briefing.
You will then be provided with a Kwan-chang outfit to change into before meeting your elephant and you will wear this for the duration of your experience.
Your guide will explain the Kwan-chang’s (elephant handler’s) morning routine. Together with your guide, you will go into the jungle to find your elephant after her night foraging in the surrounding hills.
Once united with your elephant and her Kwan-chaang you can enjoy exploring the real Thai jungle alongside your gentle giant.
Together, you will walk with your elephant to the river where you will assist the Kwan-chang in giving her a morning bath.
Then, you will accompany your elephant back to Phang Nga Elephant Park.
Here you will feed her and watch a demonstration of an elephant health check.
After you have showered and changed back into your own clothes, you will be offered a delicious, freshly-cooked, traditional Thai brunch.
You will then have time to relax, take photos, visit our souvenir shop and Education Centre.
Finally, you will help to fill the food box for the elephants in the free roaming area.
We will drive you back to your hotel.
Evening Experience (Dusk) Tuesdays & Thursdays & Saturdays:
Arrive at the Park at 4.00 p.m. On arrival at Phang Nga Elephant Park, you will meet your guide and receive our refreshing signature welcome drink
You will first have your mandatory safety briefing
You will then be provided with a Kwan-chang outfit to change into before meeting your elephant and you will wear this for the duration of your experience.
Your guide will explain the Kwan-chang’s (elephant handler’s) evening routine.
You will watch a demonstration of an elephant health check and meet your elephant companion for the evening and her Kwan-chang
Once united with your elephant and her Kwan-chaang you will feed your elephant a special snack before your adventure begins
Next, you will walk with her to the river for her evening bath
After the refreshing bath, you will accompany your elephant into the surrounding jungle where she will spend the night foraging
After you have showered and changed back into your own clothes you will be offered a delicious, freshly-cooked, traditional Thai dinner.
We will drive you back to your hotel.
The Experience Includes:

- Excellent shower and secure locker-room facilities are available to store your belongings
Things to bring:
- Camera, sun lotion, insect repellent, sunglasses, sun hat, waterproof clothing (depending on the forecast), trainers and swimwear (for bathing with your elephant)
- Change of clothes and towel if you would like to shower after your elephant experience.
Safety:
- Please respect the elephants at all times
- No running or loud noises
- Only feed the food we provide (human food can be harmful to elephants)
- Always obey the instructions from the guides
- Never approach an elephant on your own (remember elephants are usually very kind and intelligent but they do weigh over two tons)
- You must always stay with your guide
Booking conditions
- No-show and cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled tour date are non-refundable.
- A fee of 3.9% will be deducted from all refunds made to credit card payments.
Insurance
- We provide full accident insurance for our clients, but all guests must be aware that the experience involves adventure activities and you accept that you take part in this tour at your own risk. We are legally required to ask you to sign a form on arrival to say that you understand this.
- All guests participating in a tour at Phang Nga Elephant Park are strongly advised to take out their own personal travel insurance to cover loss or damage to property, illness, injury, or not being able to travel on the confirmed date of the tour.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage to visitors’ personal belongings while at Phang Nga Elephant Park.

The above itineraries are examples of the activities that usually take place on the tours. The order of activities varies. All tour itineraries are subject to a certain amount of variation due to the weather and local conditions on the day of the tour.
